New mile stone - 50.000 page views

Hannibal the Cat in-side a kitchen drawer

Hannibal the Cat is also spending some time in my kitchen, he is quiet attracted to jump behind the bigger kitchen drawers, when they stand open !!! Strange behavior for a cat :-)

Within a short time periode of 8½ month my blog about activities in my kitchen and garden has been having another 25.000 page views, so it has reached a new mile stone of 50.000 page view since the very beginning a little more 2 years ago.

The passage of this mile stone took place on the same day as one of my blog posts got nominated for the very first time on the Matbloggsentralen´s challenge on Christmas food, this is an amazing experience for me, so a BIG-BIG-BIG thank you to all of you for voting on my blog proposal in form of  ris à la mande (rice pudding with cherry sauce), which is traditional Danish Christmas dessert. My post was not selected as the winning post, but the nomination is a hugh, hugh step in my blogging world.

And these new page views has really turned every thing up-side down on the Top 10 list over published posts:

1. TUC cake
2. Tea shopping at Kusmi in Paris
3. Meeting some Danish food bloggers in REAL life
4. Baked marzipan confect
5. Daim confect
6. New mile-stone 200 blog postings
7. "Apple fish" a la la Tascha
8. Kitchen equipment 13 - electrical kettle
9. Strawberry cake version 3.0
10. Christmas aquavit

And 3 of these 10 blog posts are related to Christmas, whereas another 3 of the 10 blog post are cake recipes !!! The rest of the posts are related to tea shopping, meeting other Danish food bloggers, an older blog mile stone and finally a new piece of kitchen equipment in form of an electrical kettle.

I have also noticed, that I have more and more readers coming from out-side Denmark, where USA, Russia,  UK and Norway account for the growth in non-Danish readers. I huge welcome to all my readers coming from around the world. It is great to me to see, how I have readers on all 5 continents :-)

As usual I am ending the mile stone review with an update on my KPIs for the blog looks like this (in my professional life colleagues and managers are discussing Key Performance Indicators on a regular basis):
