Bruschette with avocado and tomato


"Hjemmebagt" - 73 recipes - 7 accomplished = still 66 recipes to bake

This evening I was able to combine an easy evening meal with a small step forward in reaching my goal about baking my way through the bread book "Hjemmebagt", as I accomplished a new recipe in "Hjemmebagt".

First of all I am impressed over the freshness of kokotte bread with fresh ramson, which I baked last Friday, so 4 days ago. The bread just feel like like it was actual baked this afternoon. Impressive !!!

Bruschette with avocado and tomato:
  1. Slice the needed amount of bread for bruchette. Heat a frying pan with oil and roast the bread slices on both sides.
  2. Meanwhile mass the avocado, season it with lemon juice, garlic and fresh grounded pepper.
  3. Slice the tomato and chop a scalot onion very finely
  4. Spread the avocado on the roasted bread, afterwards add tomato and onion
  5. Enjoy :-))
